Fresh! Get More Leads Sell More Stuff

Many economists say were are in, or are entering a recession. As a result, you’re probably taking a hard look at spending to see what can be pruned back.

Pruning the rose bush leads to better blooms.

First on the block is usually marketing, as it can often be "pruned" without an immediate drop off in sales. However, just as with gardening, cutting the wrong thing, or cutting too deeply, can hurt growth (or in severe cases, kill the plant).

Cutting back doesn’t have to be a bad thing. It can help you focus your message, and that’s a sure-fire path towards a better return on your marketing investment.

Review your value proposition (the reason someone should buy from you), and see if it’s still working for your primary product or service. Now, look at your spending on advertising, direct mail, web site, etc. What part of your spending promotes the right message? What doesn’t?

Now, you’re ready. Get out those pruning shears and do what you gotta do.

You won’t know if you’re making the right cuts unless you know your value proposition and product/service offerings are on-target. Call (562) 595-0555 or write Luis@FreshGraphics.net about a Brand Scan, and we’ll show you how to get more leads and sell more stuff for your marketing buck.
