It’s not often you get a “mentalist” trick in your email, and I thank you for joining me for this one. For me to read your mind, you need to be thinking about something specific. Since this is a marketing newsletter, I’d like you to answer this question: why should I do business with you? More specifically, think about what makes you different and better than your competitors. Stop reading for a moment and fix the thoughts in your mind. Give me a little time to feel those thoughts. Yes, stop reading and think clearly so I can get a good picture.
Now, the words in your head may be different than mine, but essentially, your differentiation probably comes down to some combination of the above categories.
The good news: you’re more different than you think you are. It’s just a matter of discovering your difference, and expressing it in a way that cuts through the clutter, and gets to your prospects in a way they can relate to.
